Inside Sales / Rental Associate

Equipment rentals, including theatrical lighting, special effects, rigging and film/video lighting equipment, are a core part of Limelight Productions' business activities. Limelight services the needs of groups ranging from local/amateur to internationally acclaimed artists, television, film production and touring productions. As part of its full-service, single source approach, Limelight also sells equipment and supplies needed by production and design professionals - from spike tape to high end effects and lighting equipment.

The Inside Sales / Rental Associates is the primary person responsible for meeting the rental and supply needs of Limelight's wide range of customers.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service
  
  • handling telephone and email inquiries
    
  • advising and troubleshooting as needed
    
• Rental Shop Inventory Management
  
• Quotation Preparation
  
• Document Preparation and Management including insurance certification, lease agreements, purchase orders, etc.
  
• Shop Order Preparation
  • equipment check out and check in/returns
    
• Accurately processing cash and credit card purchases
  
• Managing and directing shop assistants, seasonal interns, etc
  
• Rental Management is a critical component of LPI's team approach to sales

Qualifications

• “Can do” attitude
• Ability to work independently as well with a range of personalities
• Comfort with and ability to offer help and advice to a wide range of customers from amateur groups to seasoned professionals
• Meticulous attention to detail
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in technical theatre
• Familiarity with a wide range of contemporary lighting and special effects equipment and manufacturers
• Computer proficiency including MS Office applications

Pluses

• The following, although not required are preferable -
• Commercial driver’s license and experience driving box trucks
• ETCP certification
