Rigging Installer
Experienced theatre rigger needed at Limelight Productions for installation of counterweight and motorized rigging systems in theatres, schools, studios, and commercial spaces. Candidates should have a range of rigging installation experience, a strong mechanical aptitude and an understanding of technical drawings. Some travel required.
Responsibilities Include
- Installation of manual counterweight and motorized rigging systems
- Installation of related hardware and accessories
- Maintenance and repairs to rigging systems and components
- Loading and unloading equipment and supplies as needed
- Working safely and courteously on customer premises
- Accurately communication of concerns, issues, progress, etc in a timely fashion with supervisors, co-workers and others as needed
- Tracking and maintaining tool and parts inventories
- In-shop preparation of equipment, materials, etc
- Support as necessary for other limelight services as needed
Qualifications
- 5+ years “real world” experience with installing, maintaining and operating rigging systems
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to communicate, coordinate and cooperate with other vendors, trades and contractors
- Expertise in reading and interpreting technical drawings and renderings
- Demonstrated ability to meticulously document work and work site conditions
- Ability to lift 50lbs
Pluses

- Commercial driver’s license and experience driving box trucks
welding skills/certifications - Manufacturer-specific certifications
- ETC Rigging Installer
- OSHA Certification
- ETCP certification
