Limelight Productions is seeking a dynamic personality to fill a key role in the company's operation as an Office Manager/Inside Sales Assistant.
The Office Manager is the first point of contact for customers and vendors doing business with Limelight Productions answering phone, email, fax and postal inquiries.
The Office Manager is responsible for the maintenance of office systems and supplies and the general operation of the office/reception areas at LPI.
In addition, the Office Manager provides support to the sales and service team, including acting as an Inside Sales Associate – answering inquiries, receiving routine orders and routing more complex ones to the appropriate staff. As a prime point of contact between Limelight and the public, the OM/ISA must have a sense of humor, ability to work with all types of personalities, including under stressful time pressures, and must have a basic understanding of the production and technical side of the entertainment industry and the range of products and services offered by Limelight. Experienced Project Manager wanted for lighting and rigging installation services.
Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of project management for installations of theatrical lighting and rigging equipment including participation in the preparation of bids, submittals, change orders and close out documents; ordering equipment and supplies; scheduling and supervising labor; coordination with other contractors onsite; and providing onsite training and warranty support. Experienced Project Estimator wanted for preparing estimates and bid documents for lighting and rigging installation services.
Project Estimator must have demonstrated ability to understand, diagnose and prepare accurate cost estimates for a wide range of projects. Knowledge of prevailing wage requirements when applicable, OSHA regulations, transportation logistics, materials sourcing and labor costs/issues. Experienced theatre rigger needed at Limelight Productions for installation of counterweight and motorized rigging systems in theatres, schools, studios, and commercial spaces. Candidates should have a range of rigging installation experience, a strong mechanical aptitude and an understanding of technical drawings. Some travel required. Equipment rentals, including theatrical lighting, special effects, rigging and film/video lighting equipment, are a core part of Limelight Productions' business activities. Limelight services the needs of groups ranging from local/amateur to internationally acclaimed artists, television, film production and touring productions. As part of its full-service, single source approach, Limelight also sells equipment and supplies needed by production and design professionals - from spike tape to high end effects and lighting equipment.
The Inside Sales / Rental Associates is the primary person responsible for meeting the rental and supply needs of Limelight's wide range of customers. More information about Inside Sales / Rental Associate.
Paid position. Summer position in busy rental shop to gain hands on experience maintaining equipment, preparing shop orders, helping with load ins/outs, etc. Limelight is located in the culturally-rich Berkshires, home to many world renowned theatres and summer festivals, many of whom are Limelight clients.
